Otary is a partnership of eight Belgian renewable energy companies. As a Belgian pioneer we develop, finance, build and manage offshore wind farms, with a strong focus on innovation. Otary is responsible for Rentel & SeaMade which are both fully operational and good for a total capacity of around 800 MW and is actively working on a new 3.5 GW development zone in the Belgian North Sea.

As an Asset Performance Analyst, you will be working in the Business Support Team within the Offshore Energy sector. In this versatile role, you will support both the operation and maintenance of our existing offshore assets, as well as the development of new offshore projects and innovations.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. Your key responsibilities are:

Find new improvement opportunities by analysing our existing assets, operational performance, business processes, the energy market and by listening to business needs
Reporting for internal and external approval purposes, including recurring reports and calculations
Perform detailed data analysis (both post-calculations and forecasts) to give internal stakeholders and management insight into asset performance and to facilitate decision making
Remain up to date with new technologies, evolutions and innovation opportunities and share market intelligence within Otary
Project cost analysis and budget estimates to support investment and operational decisions
In this role, you will report to the Business Support Lead
Your profile:
You have a master's degree as an industrial or business engineer with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent experience with a strong interest in data analysis and the energy market
Expertise with renewables, marine construction or energy market is considered a plus but not a requirement
Strong analytical mindset and affinity with data, strong attention to detail
A good business aptitude and can differentiate key success factors from details
Pro-active, well-organized and a problem solver
Able to work independently but are also a strong team player
Flexible and positive attitude and are immune to stress
Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English
You are proficient in Excel and have an interest in data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Python
